Officials seized more than 14 tons of illegal vape products following a three month investigation into vape distribution across New York. The products totaling over 28,000 pounds were linked to a State Department of Health officials, Nassau police and Nassau health officials intercepted an estimated 14 tons of illegal vaping products intended for local distributors and smoke shops, state health officials said. Officials Flavored vape has been illegal to sell in NYS since 2020. Flavored vape has lead to a large increase in youth using e cigarettes.
